I was so excited to be able to shoot this look right outside of our home…we are getting settled in nicely and soaking in all of the newness! I’ll be sharing more peeks into our home very soon as I have some fun projects coming up. So stay tuned!
In the meantime, I wanted to share with you a couple of hot trends right now…utility jackets and patchwork denim! Utility jackets can be worn all Fall/Winter long…pair it with a tee like I’ve done for early Fall wear or wear it over your favorite sweaters in the Winter months. However you choose to wear it, a utility jacket is a versatile piece that truly goes with everything. The one I’m wearing is from Old Navy and it is under $50!
Patchwork denim is also on trend right now! I was on the hunt for the perfect pair and I was lucky enough to find these at Old Navy as well. These are a boyfriend fit and I just love the darker denim patchwork detail! I will say that I had to have a sales associate help me locate my size because there were very few pairs left. I tried to find these online for you all but did not have any luck. So check with your local Old Navy store! I’ve also found a similar pair HERE!
Staying on trend does not require spending a lot of money. I recommend picking a few pieces each season that you know you will get a lot of wear out of! You can never go wrong with jackets and jeans!
