For those of you that follow along on social media, you have probably seen that we have been vacationing in Aruba for the past 7 days (sorry for not making it off the beach in time to write a post this past Monday). 😉  We relaxed, relaxed, and relaxed some more!  Because just the two of us visited Aruba last summer, this time around was pretty much centered around relaxation and GREAT food!

Of course I had plans to take some amazing photos to share with you all and to get dressed up for some styled shoots but once there, I decided that I owed it to myself, and to my Hubby, to just kick my feet up and relax so that is exactly what we did!  After all, it isn’t very often that we get to forgo our daily routines for an entire week, sleep in, do whatever WE want to do, eat whenever WE want to eat, and just CHILL the rest of the time.
We are so happy to be back and we are settling nicely back into our daily routines.  PLUS we always miss our kiddos sooooo much when we are gone and we find ourselves talking about them often.  We even agreed on that the next time we visit Aruba they will definitely visit with us…time to get their passports!
I’m excited to be back at it with KBStyled…I have some fun posts coming up soon!
While in Aruba, my style was simple yet put together.  I found myself braiding my wet hair a lot (you don’t want to see my hair in tropical humidity with high winds…talk about a frizzy untamable mess), wearing minimal makeup, and wearing clothes that were easy & cool yet beautiful.
This gorgeous mango and pink color block romper from Sail to Sable was the perfect piece to wear for one of our nights out in Aruba.  The colors scream summer and the romper style is perfect for any vacation.  Don’t get me wrong, its perfect to wear for ANY occasion really but I especially loved wearing it while in Aruba.  Rompers are just fun to wear, especially when they are as gorgeous and colorful as this one.
What type of vacation plans do you have this summer?
As always, thanks so much for stopping by…hope you are all having a great week so far!!!
