Although I won’t be able to see my Mom on Mother’s Day this year, I will be reflecting on the many reasons why she is so special to me.  Growing up, I always remember that my Mom had an affection for beautiful dainty gold jewelry…pieces similar to this gorgeous necklace.  I would go through her jewelry box and try on her jewelry and she would reassure me that one day, some of her pieces would be passed down to me.  And in fact, my Mom has gifted me several beautiful pieces of jewelry over the years.

My Mom is a gem…literally!  She is the type of Mom that loves from the pits of her soul…her love is unconditional and kind.  I’ve learned through my Mom’s example to love my children the same way. She has always taught me the golden rule, “do unto others how you would have them do unto you” and this is a rule that I always try to follow.  She has become my friend and my confidant over the years and I feel so very blessed to call her mine!

I love being a part of celebrating other Mom’s and I’m so excited that JTV has asked me to do just that!  I am giving away one of these beautiful necklaces in celebration of Mother’s Day!
