The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is HERE!!!  This sale is by far one of THE BEST sale events around.  Nordstrom showcases so many gorgeous Fall pieces that are marked down for a fraction of the retail price…think up to 40% off!  I know we are in the dead heat of summer but NOW is the time to think about Fall and take full advantage of the many amazing pieces and even more AMAZING prices that are offered during this sale!

If you are a Nordstrom regular, you know how this all works…no need for me to explain!  If you aren’t a Nordstrom regular, I will highlight a few tips to help you navigate this sale and get the most out of it.  Let’s talk a bit about the sale…

1)  First things first…dates to keep me in mind!  Starting today 7/14/16, until 7/21/16, those who have signed up for either the Nordstrom Credit or Nordstrom Debit card have full access to shop the sale early…hence all of the hubbub you have been hearing about “early access”.  And if you don’t currently have either card, you can still sign up, receive your card number and shop the sale NOW…something to think about because many pieces sell out so quickly!  Shopping will open to the public on 7/22/16 (but keep in mind, many of the best sale items may be gone)!

2)  If you follow me on Instagram and would like to receive details on the sale items and/or pieces I am wearing, please make sure you are signed up for LikeToKnow.it!  You can find me at LikeToKnow.it/kbstyled!  All you have to do is “like” any of my photos with the LikeToKnow.it link and you will then receive stoppable emails in your inbox.  It’s that simple!  Just consider me your personal shopper!

3)  Take a look at your closet BEFORE you shop the sale and think quality over quantity!  There is no need to buy buy buy, unless you have a bottomless wallet, and then buy away.  If you are anything like me, shopping always comes with a budget (Peter would thank me for saying that by the way).  So plan ahead, create your budget, and then try and stick to that!  Whether you stick to that budget or not is totally up to you!

4)  ENJOY shopping and finding some AMAZING deals!  This should be fun and I am going to help you shop along the way.  Don’t get overwhelmed because BELIEVE ME, it can be so overwhelming. Now let’s talk a bit about my “first impression” picks which are pieces that I just LOVE!

BLANK NYC FAUX LEATHER JACKET – under $65 and absolutely AMAZING!  I have been looking for the perfect brown leather jacket and this is it!  It looks and feels like real leather and the fit is amazing.  Size up on this one…I bought a size medium and it will be the perfect fit over a basic tee or even over a light sweater.

TROUVE LAYERING TEE – $33 this tee is super soft and makes for the perfect layering piece.  I bought this because it is perfect under the BLANK NYC jacket and it will also be perfect under the TOPSHOP sweater.  You an never have too many essential tees.  It fits snuggly so you may consider sizing up if you don’t want your tee to be too tight!

TREASURE & BOND ANKLE BOYFRIEND SKINNY JEAN – under $66!  I’m obsessed with these!  Two things that are trending…ankle length jeans and fringe/distressed detail around the ankle.  These jeans fit light a dream too and make my bum look amazing if I do say so myself.  For the price, this pair of denim is a HUGE WINNER in my book!  For a size reference, I bought a size 27!

TOM’S MAJORCA PEEP TOE BOOTIE – under $80!  Peep toe booties are the perfect shoe to transition you from summer into fall.  They can be worn with denim, dresses, skirts, etc and a gorgeous neutral grey bootie literally goes with everything.  At under $80, these are a great add to your bootie collection!!!

TOPSHOP PATCHWORK OVERSIZE OPEN CARDIGAN – $55 and in love!  Talk about BANG FOR YOUR BUCK.  This oversize cardi is the poster child of comfy live in sweaters.  It is beyond soft, not itchy at all, and it has pockets!  I know I will be living in this sweater this Fall/Winter season.  And seriously, for $55, you cannot go wrong!  I bought a size 2!

HALOGEN SHELBI ALMOND TOE WEDGE – $85…I have these booties in my cart and will most likely get them!  I love the color and the wedge style…again, another perfect addition to your shoe collection for such an amazing price!

VINCE CAMUTO MELAYA OVER THE KNEE BOOT – $160…marked down from $240!  Okay, I haven’t pulled the trigger on these boots yet…again, I had a budget for my first round, but they are in my cart and I’m smitten with these.  Believe it or not, I don’t own a pair of over the knee boots and I’ve always wanted a pair.  What I LOVE about these first off is the color…I will be wearing a lot of cognac and different shades of brown this fall season and I also love that they have a heel!  So many over the knee boots are flat and I need a few extra inches!
