A Creamy Blue Thanksgiving Tablescape…this years tablescape was inspired by these gorgeous pheasant dishes that I just so happened to stumble across. The combination of colors and the design of these harvest gathering pheasant dishes immediately caught my eye and I knew I could create a beautiful, warm and welcoming table with this color combination.
Creating a beautiful tablescape often times means that you are layering pieces, adding dimension and height, creating a focal point and of course bringing warmth to your table. Start with a beautiful table cloth, like this soft tan and white check cloth and then add a table runner down the center of your table…I’ve used this ruffle burlap table runner for many of my tablescapes as its a great neutral base for just about any theme.
I then created a beautiful focal point with an assortment of flowers and greenery. I also added height in the center of the table by ensuring the arrangement in the center of the table is taller than then flocking sides where I placed candles and more flowers and greenery. I purchased all of my flowers and greenery from Trader Joe’s this year…they have such a great, affordable, selection and I especially loved working with magnolia stems this year!
I added large blue candles to the sides of my centerpiece, placed flowers and greenery around them, added some pinecones, and then a couple of blue tea light candles on each side as well.
Next I placed the chargers on our table…these chargers are from Pier 1 years ago but there are a variety of beautiful white wood charges out there. I then layered each place setting with a dinner plate, salad plate, and soup bowl. I folded our floral napkins into bows (I shared a tutorial of how I did this on my Instagram Reels if you’d like to check it out) and placed them atop of the soup bowl.
I placed a water glass, wine glass and coffee mug beside each place setting. I finished with flatware and I absolutely love this gold flatware that I have used time and time again for my table settings. It is beautiful, has a nice weight and is affordable as well! I also placed these gorgeous turkey pillows at the heads of our table…how cute are they?!
Finally, light your candles and get ready to welcome family and friends to gather around your table!
I hope you feel inspired to create a beautiful Thanksgiving table this year!
Wishing you and yours a beautiful Thanksgiving…I hope it is special and I hope you are surrounded by those you love.
As always, thanks so much for stopping by and I hope to see you back here real soon!
