The first official day of summer is this week and although we’ve personally already welcomed summer, I’m looking forward to those longer days where the sun doesn’t set until 8:30pm or later. We love spending summer evenings outside as a family! Popsicles on the porch and chasing fireflies are two of our favorite things to do.
Most of you know that I LIVE in dresses during the summer. I would much rather wear a light breezy dress than anything else when it is hot outside. Not only are dresses perfect for staying cool during the hot summer months but they are also versatile and easy to wear for a variety of occasions. From running errands, to an outdoor cookout with family or friends, to a date night, or to a wedding…a beautiful summer dress is perfect for all occasions.
Every summer season, I shop for new dresses at Nordstrom. They have THE BEST selection of summer dresses and I’m alway able to find just what I’m looking for. From casual to dressy, you can find the perfect dress for every occasion.
When shopping most recently, I saw this gorgeous floral off the shoulder maxi dress at Nordstrom and I was immediately drawn to the style, colors, and bold floral print. We have some evening events this summer and I knew this dress would work perfectly for some of those events. I paired it with simple blush heels and a bright white fold envelope clutch. To not take away from the bold floral print, I kept my earring choice simple with these Sophia drop earrings.

That dress is absolutely stunning!!
The reception is held in the main hall. The place was gorgeous and perfect for a wedding. I have been to several weddings here but it hasn't gotten old. The Los Angeles wedding venues are absolutely beautiful and the views are breathtaking.
